Silicone Base Sensor Skin

As the Base Sensor spends most of its time on the camera, it is exposed to potential harm at the ruthless hands of operators and constant build adjustments. The Base Skin serves to protect from these objective hazards, whilst its black colorway helps avoid detection in reflections and actor eyelines.
The location of the Base’s display, buttons, and connectors make a cut-out option for third-party antenna protectors (as found on the Handset Skin) impossible, so we designed a robust alternative: the solid silicone “Antenna Block”. The Block mitigates impact damage by holding the top of the antenna securely while leaving a protective space around the coupling point with the Base.
